Comedy & drama vie in Shakespeare's 'Henry IV'
Before rehearsal at the Hartsbrook School earlier this month, Hampshire Shakespeare Company players had a little fun with the kilts and armor they're wearing in "Henry IV, Part 1, which opens this week. Amid challenges to wear the garb out to a watering hole after rehearsal, teacher Bob Williams claimed, "I'm going to wear that [kilt] on the last day of school." But when King Henry took the stage, his stern opening speech abolished all frivolity.
